Erinys & The Seer

Erinys & The Seer is my light novel that chronicles the journey of Teiresias, the blind seer, and Erinys, the Fury who elope after the fall of Thebes in 1250 BC (Ancient Greece). After spending over a thousand years in hiding along the outskirts of Olympus, the two lovers are torn apart when a new god begins His global conquest. Nations will fall, religions will die, but Erinys will do whatever it takes to save her Teiresias from a god of gods.

The story acts as an allegory for the fall of polytheism in the ancient world, and the rise of Christianity and Byzantine Rome. There are countless references to various traditional, polytheistic religions throughout the story as Erinys scours the globe for her only love. This allows for a diverse cast of characters and cultural intersections that viewers can cling to, while also providing a historical pretext.
